Lina Franko (b. 1977, Zagreb, Croatia) is a Croatian artist based in Düsseldorf, Germany. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. In her work, she explores the idea of timelessness, simultaneity, the temporal and spatial continuum permeating all artistic genres without hierarchies. She has exhibited in numerous museums, including the Vll and XI Triennial of Croatian Sculpture in the Glyptothek of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb, the Lazareti Museum and the Otok Gallery in Dubrovnik, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Eupen, the Dorotheum auction house in Düsseldorf and numerous galleries in Germany and Croatia. She presented Croatia at The Beijing International Art Biennale in Beijing. In 2007 and 2011 she was nominated for the Förderpreis für junge Kunst in Düsseldorf. In 2018 she founded the Rhizom Art Association in Frankopan Castle in Kraljevica, Croatia, and was the art director of the international art project 3rd–SPACE.EU/rope.
