Tin Samaržija, was born in Zagreb. He finished elementary school Petar Zrinski in Zagreb. He graduated from the Graphic Department of the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, under the mentorship of professor Jure Kokeza. He enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2016. He completed his undergraduate studies in the graphic department in the class of full professor D.A. Robert Šimrak with an award from the Latin classification Summa cum laude baccalaureus graphics. Upon completion of the undergraduate study, 2020/2021. enrols in graduate studies in the class of the same professor, and is now in the process of studying. In the same year, he became a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists. He has been exhibiting independently since 2010 and has participated in a large number of projects and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad (Zagreb, Karlovac, Ptuj, Trakya, Belgrade, London, Doncaster, Madrid, Istanbul, Brseč, Pula, etc.).
He became the president of the ALU Student Union in 2019 and was elected for two terms. He has received several commendations for his successful work and the group Rector’s award for the Brundibar opera, which he receives for the segment of the poster art design and visual identity. A large number of his graphics are in various collections.
