The axiom of sunrise as a universal sensory and visually appealing phenomenon is  being deconstructed and all that is left is an abstract visual trace. Highly aestheticized photography subliminally evokes nostalgic-emotional-erotic fantasies. By emanating heat and light, it transcends its two inherent dimensions and transforms into a fluid light site-specific object. We heat up like solar yogis in the hot light of the shelter.

It opens a window ‒ a view beyond the restraining limits of the world from which we withdraw. Like moths, we gravitate to the gleaming and glowing end of the tunnel. Whoever does not enter will never know if there is anything beyond the damp darkness of concrete.
