Radovan Kunić (Rijeka, Croatia, 1987) graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Applied Arts at the University of Rijeka in 2012. His artistic practice primarily focuses on painting, but he also works with various media, including animation, video, and installation. Kunić explores the relationships between these media in both gallery settings and outdoor public spaces. He has participated in international symposia and residencies in Belgium, the USA, and Germany, and has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Kunić has received several awards and recognitions, and his works are held in public and private collections both nationally and internationally. Notably, he is the author of a public artwork titled “Mechanism Mosaic,” located on Mol Long in Rijeka. Since 2015, Kunić has been involved in pedagogy as an assistant at the Academy of Applied Arts at the University of Rijeka. He is also a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists.
