After graduating from the High School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb in 2007, Igor Taritaš enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He graduated from the class of Professor Ante Rašić in 2013. He has exhibited in fourteen solo and several group exhibitions throughout Croatia and abroad. He works as an art teacher in Popovača and Veliki Grđevac. He has been a member of HDLU since 2012, and the P_3 platform since 2013. In 2016, he exhibited at the Biennial of Painting, the group exhibition Exporting Zagreb at the National Museum in Gdańsk in Poland and a solo exhibition at the renowned 2CforART Gallery in Salzburg, Austria. He exhibits in the group exhibition JUNGE KUNST AUS KROATIEN in St. Polten in Austria. In 2017, he was invited to exhibit his works at the group exhibition Grand Salon 2017, Villa Berberich, in Germany.
He established a collaboration with the Sol Art Gallery in Dublin and the Von Fraunberg Gallery in Dusseldorf in 2018. In 2020, he won the CreArt (HDLU) competition for making murals in Zagreb. His work will be presented in a selection of 100 international artists to be featured in the CONTEMPORARY ART COLLECTORS platform book. The works of Igor Taritash are in private collections in England, the USA, Australia. Germany, Norway, Ireland, Denmark, Italy, Singapore, UAE… Galleries present his work at international art fairs in Hong Kong, London and Brussels.
