Klaudija Horvat is a young artist born in 1999 in Čakovec. She is a student at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka;  majoring in graphics, and a student at the prestigious Bauhaus School of Architecture and Applied Arts in Germany.  She has exhibited in a couple of group exhibitions since 2017. She is a representative of Surrealism — an artistic direction that first appeared in the 1920s in France. The laws of physics do not apply to it, there are no laws of gravity, the characters float, it creates visions of the mind, not reality. The human subconscious, dreams, hallucinations and a foreign and confusing context are the goal of her painting.
