Luka Pacek

Luka Pacek is a promising student of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb who graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb in 2014, department of sculpture design. After that, he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of sculptor Dalibor Stošić, affirming himself in the field of art as one of the best students of the academy. As a student, he is actively involved in the social field: he is a member of the Student Union of ALU and the Student Union of the University of Zagreb, where he is a member of the presidency, and also a member of the Arts Council, ALU Quality Commission and the University of Zagreb Senate.

During his studies, Luka exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions and in art projects and works in public spaces. As a prominent solo exhibition, we can single out the exhibition Review, held at the Center for Youth in Samobor in 2020 and several group exhibitions: an exhibition of student works More (2018) in Šibenik, the final exhibition of the best student achievements ALU Perspektiva (2018, 2020 and 2021) in Zagreb, exhibition of competition works Milan Neralić (2019) in Zagreb, group exhibition within the Festival of the University of Zagreb (2019), 

exhibition Q´Art Ilica (2020 and 2021) in Zagreb, exhibition YES! Festival 2021 in the Gallery of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, the exhibition Croatia to the World (2021) in the Meštrović Pavilion in Zagreb, the exhibition Art Against Fear (2021) in the Šira Gallery in Zagreb and the international garden exhibition within FloraArt (2021) at Bundek. The artist’s oeuvre highlights two sculptures in public space: the Portrait of Antun F. Lucić exhibited at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering in Zagreb (2020) and the sculpture Prolaz exhibited at the Cultural Society of Croatian Bosniaks in Zagreb (2021).
