Room for losing your virginity represents conflicting feelingsfeelings of excitement, need, desire, tenderness, discomfort, fear and pain. It is at the crossroads of childhood and maturity. With her work, the author pays attention to an undefined, hardly predictable feeling, which strongly defines our sexuality.
Rina Barbarić graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana in 2015 with the project Series of Covers for Vinyl Records by artists Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. 

The work was among the top five student works at the Bienal visual arts Ljubljana. In April 2016, she completed a three-month internship at Aitor Throup Studio in London as a graphic designer. In the same year, she participated in the team of the Short Film Festival in Ljubljana for which she creates a visual identity, and later joins the VoxFeminae project “Fierce Women” and her illustrations are used in a board game. In 2019 she participates in the first art residence in Porto where she begins  her project Room for losing your virginity, finally presented in Zagreb as part of the Mapping the Unseen program.
